Flight controllers throughout France are planning a strike for Thursday – on Tuesday, the French civil office (DGAC), which turned to the carriers to cancel a quarter of the flights. The strikes are to have the greatest impact on the airports in the south of the country, where half of the connections are to be canceled.

In total, there will be flight controllers at Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Ajaccio, Figari, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly and Beauvais.
DGAC asks travelers to turn to the airline for additional information about their flights. (PAP)
