For several weeks, Musk has revolted against Trump's policy, which led to a harsh conflict with Trump in early June. Musk claimed that Republican Political Law will increase the debt, calling it “the slavery of debt”.
The draft law of the Senate would add nearly $ 3.3 trillion to deficit in the next decade, according to an estimate of the Budget Office of the Congress published on Sunday.
Senate legislation costs more than the law approved by the Chamber of Representatives, which would add $ 2.4 trillion to deficit in the next decade.
The Senate version of the draft law allocates $ 46.5 billion for the construction, installation and maintenance of border barriers and $ 45 billion for immigrant retention facilities over the next four years. This amount would make the immigration and customs service the Federal Law Agency the best funded and would far exceed its previous budgets.
It would be a crucial infusion of money for the administration to meet its goal to arrest at least 3,000 immigrants per day. Tom Homan, the border tsar of the White House, previously told CNN that the administration is almost at the limit in terms of detention space, asserting earlier this month: “We are probably at 95% or over”.
