The best time for the last top dressing is the second half of June or the beginning of July, immediately after cutting off the arrows, until they were still booming. During this period, garlic no longer needs nitrogen – it is responsible for the growth of greenery, but phosphorus and potassium will just help to form large, dense cloves. The ideal choice is monocali phosphate. This fertilizer easily dissolves in water (no torment, as with superphosphate), is quickly absorbed by roots and gives a powerful effect: more size, better taste and longer storage.
Dilute 1 tablespoon of phosphate monocalia in 10 liters of water. This is enough to pour 3 square meters of the beds. Just spill under the root, and all – 5 minutes, and the thing is done! After this top dressing, garlic no longer needs fertilizers. Wait for the arrows straighten, and you can dig. The result will surprise you: the cloves will be larger, tastier and will spill without problems until the next season.
