Romania has won six medals at the World Cup of Rowing in Lucerne

The Romanian canrs won six medals, on Sunday, at the World Cup in Lucerne, three gold, two silver and one bronze.

In double female frames, Simona Radiș and Magdalena Rusu won with a time of 06 min 59 sec 04/100, being followed over five seconds by the Czech Republic (07: 05.35).

Florin Arteni and Florin Lehaci won the victory in double male frames, in 06 min 17 sec 57/100, with an advance of over two seconds compared to New Zealand (06: 20.14).

The female crew of eight plus one (Cristina Drugă, Roxana Anghel, Iulia Bălăucă, Geanina Juncănariu, Ancuța Bodnar, Maria Lehaci, Adrian Adam, Amalia Bereș, Victoria Petreanu) won the gold in 06 min 02 sec 92/100, being followed by the United States (06: 04).

At four men's frames, at Stefan Berariu, Sergiu Bejan, Andrei Mândrilă, Ciprian Tudosă obtained the silver (05: 47.74), being detained by Australia (05: 47.03).

In the female race of four rows, Romania (Iuliana Buhuș, Emanuela Ciotău, Alexandra Ungureanu, Patricia Cireș) conquered the silver medals (06: 22.74), surpassed by Germany (06: 19.29).

The eight -plus one men's crew (Mihăiță Țigănescu, Laurențiu Danciu, Bogdan Băitoc, Claudiu Neamțu, Alexandru Ciobîcă, Mugurel Semciuc, Constantin Adam, Leontin Nuțescu, Adrian Munteanu) obtained silver (05: 28.52), while Germany was ranked (05) second (05: 27.31).

In double female rows, Andrada-Maria Moroșanu and Ioana Mădălina Cornea finished in second place in the final B (06: 59.17), after Switzerland, finishing in the eighth place.

In double men's rows, the Olympic champions Florin Enache and & Andrei Cornea did not start in the final B.

Mihai Chiruță finished in the 6th place in the final B in a simple masculine sketch, occupying the 13th place in general.

At four men's rows, Alexandru Gherasim, Andrei Lungu, Nicu Chelaru and Florin Horodișteanu ranked 5th in the final B (05: 56.98).
