Trump also said that now the “wonderful time” to stop the war in Ukraine, and that he wants to talk with the illegitimate president of the Russian aggressor country Vladimir Putin.

“The protection of our people was discussed with the president, first of all, the purchase of American air defense systems to cover our cities, our people, churches, infrastructure. Ukraine is ready to buy and support American weapons manufacturers. Europe can also help. They talked about the possible joint production of drones. We can strengthen each other,” Zelensky said.
