Eric Trump (41 years old) suggested that he or another Trump family member could run for US presidency when his father's second term, The Guardian reports.
Eric, who is a co-vice-president of the Trump organization, said that the road to the White House “would be easy” if he decides to follow his father.
“The real question is: do you want to involve other members of your family in this? … I would like to live my children the same experience I have lived in the last decade? For my children to live the same experience that I have lived in the last decade?” He said in an interview for the Financial Times.
“You know, if the answer was yes, I think the political road would be easy, that is, I think I could do it,” continued Eric Trump. “And by the way, I think other members of our family could do so,” the son of the US president added.
Unlike his brothers Donald Jr. and Ivanka Trump, Eric generally stayed away from politics, focusing on leading the family business after his father's entry into the Oval Bureau in 2017.
However, it seems that he was paying attention to politics all this time, saying that he felt “totally not impressed by half of the politicians” he sees and that he could be “very effective”.
