In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, Fulger floods and roof collapse led to the deaths of 19 people, of which eight children, according to regional authorities.

In the province of Punjab, east of the country, another 13 deaths have been reported since Wednesday, according to local authorities. Most victims, including children, have lost their lives as a result of collapsing the walls and roofs under the weight of heavy rains, writes Mediafax.

In addition to the losses of human lives, the floods seriously affected the homes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 56 houses were damaged, and six were completely destroyed.

The National Meteorological Service warns that the risk of strong rain and floods will persist until at least Tuesday.
