The firefighters intervened on Friday to liquidate a fire that occurred at a storage space in Sector 6 of the Capital, the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Bucharest (ISUBIF) announced.
The space is located on Preciziei street.
“The fire was manifested with open flame and very large smoke releases at the level of a warehouse of about 400 square meters, with propagation to another warehouse,” said Isubif.
The institution said that, according to preliminary information, there are also oxygen cylinders in warehouses.
ISUBIF says that for managing the emergency situation were alerted 10 extinguishing vehicles, a special intervention and rescue special vehicle, a discharge vehicle and two SMURD crews.
The authorities also issued a RO-Alert message.
