The Warsaw prosecutor's office supplemented the allegations for Mieszko R. suspected of murder at the University of Warsaw. In addition to the allegations of murder, attempted murder and insulting the corpse, Mieszko R. heard an allegation of violation of the integrity of a police officer.
A spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, Piotr Antoni Skiba, said on Friday that in addition to the allegations announced so far: the murder of a qualified employees of the University of Warsaw and insulting her corpse, as well as attempted the murder of an employee of the University Guard of the University of Warsaw, Mieszko R. is alleged that on May 7 this year. At the Warsaw Police District Headquarters at 21 Wilcza Street, he violated the bodily integrity of a police officer.
While putting on a safety caftan, he bit a policeman in his leg. He faces a fine, a penalty of restriction of liberty or imprisonment for up to 3 years.
“The suspect did not admit to committing this act and refused to provide additional explanations in the present case,” explained Prosecutor Skiba.
On Thursday, Mieszko R. was tested by expert psychiatrists, but they have not yet prepared a court and psychiatric opinion.
“Auditants of witnesses are underway all the time. The prosecutor's office remains in constant contact with the authorities of the University of Warsaw, including with a disciplinary spokesman for students and doctoral students of the University of Warsaw” – noted Prosecutor Skiba.
A 22-year-old student of the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw Mieszko R. attacked at the beginning of May with an ax with a 53-year-old porter who closed the door to the Maximum auditorium. The woman did not survive the attack and died on the spot.
A 39-year-old employee of the University of Warsaw, whose attacker also inflicted wounds, started to help a woman. The man in a serious condition went to the hospital, but later his condition improved and after a few days he left the facility.
The suspect was detained. In the intervention, an on -site officer of the State Protection Service helped, who provided assistance to intervening to the university protection guard employees, and also provided first aid to the pre -medical wounded employee. SOP was in the campus, because Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar stayed in another place in the academic lecture.
Mieszko R. was arrested for three months. He is punished at the Psychiatric Department in Radom. (PAP)
