Thomas Muller, 35, will separate from Bayern after the World Club Championship. The club does not extend the contract more than for the period of the tournament that takes place in the United States.
The former German international has not yet decided if he will play next season. But he already invests some of the money earned in his career. Together with a group of businessmen, Muller puts money in the “Poptop” children's furniture startup in Traiskirchen, Lower Austria. “The total amount is one in seven digits,” the tabloid Bild reveals. Which means we are talking about at least one million euros!

The 2014 World Champion explained its decision in a press release: “Poptop” rethinks the children's furniture-with style, functionality and responsibility. The satisfied customers, the huge market and the strong team speak for themselves. Here you can create something really great and I am very happy to be involved. “
The company executes children's furniture
The company was founded almost two years ago by the founders of “Woom” (bicycle producer for children and teenagers) Christian Bezdeka and Marcus Ihlenfeld and develops offices for children adjustable and other pieces of furniture for children's rooms.
The new capital will now be invested in the innovation of the products, the consolidation of the brand, the international expansion and the development of an international sales network. The long -term objective is to achieve the market leader position in the children's furniture sector – with annual sales of over 100 million euros.
“With Woom, we have already turned a children's product into a global brand. Now comes the next. Poptop is meant to become the new standard for children's furniture,” the company's founders say.
Thomas Muller has argued his teammates for the first half of the match with Benfica: “There is no excuses!”
Located at the club World Cup, Muller lost with Bayern the last match held in Group C, 0-1 with Benfica, and missed the 1st place. In the end, he criticized his teammates due to an anostic first half, in which almost all accused the excessive heat from Charlotte.
“We are professionals, we have to be in a good physical form. If someone for almost 36 years, like me, it can run 90 minutes on the heat, it means that anyone should do this. So there is no excuses,” Muller has the apathy of his colleagues.
