“The Bucharest Court of Appeal definitively rejected the appeal to the preliminary chamber and found that the evidence submitted by us and gathered by the prosecutors can stand and so the doctor will be sent to court.”according to lawyer Adrian Cuculis.
Dr. Florian Robe is a gynecologist at Polizu Hospital, in the Capital. He was accused in 2023 attempted murder, after in 2019 he would have refused to give care to a newborn little girl, declaring the birth of miscarriage. Moreover, he threw the child into the trash, though he lived.
Birth occurred at 26 -week gestational age. Immediately after she was born, the little girl was taken by the doctor, placed in a lid tray, and then thrown into a garbage bag. The mother was told that the baby did not survive. 12 hours the child stood in the bag tightened, until an assistant heard a cry. He opened the bag and had a shock: the little girl lived!
Witnesses say that the baby, if not thrown away, would have been taken to an incubator, to the detriment, perhaps, of another child, with higher chances of survival.
According to prosecutors from the Bucharest Court Prosecutor's Office, those who have taken over the case, Florian Robe for unknown reasons, refused for 12 hours to give the child the necessary care.
“On April 24, 2019, a woman gave birth to a viable little girl at Polizu Maternity, under the supervision of the suspect (Florian Robe-no), a specialized obstetrics-gynecology. The latter said the birth as a miscarriage of a female conception product without signs of viability. The doctor unjustified, for 12 hours, to take measures to provide medical care ””at that time showed the Prosecutor's Office next to the Bucharest Court who found out about this case only in 2022. Then a criminal complaint was made.
Polizu, the “slaughterhouse” of premature children
According to the lawyer Cuculis, the doctor would not have been the first deed. He is accused of having left other children born prematurely to die or even “He kills them” in order to “no longer occupy a place in the incubator. “” I managed to document this case, but it appears from the statements given by the witnesses that Polizu, through this “Dr. Robe”, was a slaughterhouse of premature children, thrown into the trash can.
Currently, the girl is 6 years old. In an interview given last year, her father said “requires hours of therapy, speech therapy. We only have to go forward and hope that justice will be done and everyone will pay for what he has done”.
