The last chance for the crop: how to save eggplant during flowering – 3 effective ways

The first purple flowers are not just a beautiful element of the vegetable. This is an important signal. Now the plant forms a crop, and any little thing can influence how many fruits you will eventually collect. Support at this moment is especially important for eggplant.

Fortunately, there are simple and affordable means that will help strengthen the ovaries, speed up growth and protect the bush from diseases.

What will give an effect

Sulfuric potassium

This composition is a real find for those who want to achieve a stable crop. It helps plants gain strength, forms ovaries and makes bushes more resistant to fungal diseases.

Pour warm water into a bucket and dissolve a tablespoon of fertilizer in it. Let me stand a little. Water carefully under the root, about half a liter for each bush. After two weeks, you can repeat.

Monophosphate potassium

If potassium sulfate is not at hand, this option is also perfect. It is not inferior in effectiveness, especially if the eggplant needs to “spur” flowering slightly.

The same scheme. One spoon on a bucket of water. The solution should be warm. Water also 500 ml under the bush.

An alternative option

Top dressing does not have to go through the roots. If you want to strengthen the effect or the plant reacts poorly to the usual watering, you can apply an extra -ore method in the form of spraying.

In 10 liters of water, dissolve a teaspoon of one of the listed fertilizers. Spray leaves, but be sure to in the evening. So the leaves will not receive burns from the sun, and the composition will better go. The water temperature matters. Cold fluid reduces the effect, and warm liquid helps to absorb faster. That is why it is worth preparing the solution an hour or two before use and let it warm up in the sun.

During flowering, eggplants are especially sensitive. A little attention and a couple of simple top dressing, and you will see how the bushes are pouring force. It is important not to overfeed and act on time. Then everything will be all right with the crop.
