The Netherlands will hand over a new military assistance package to Ukraine. “We have signed contracts for the production of 600,000 drones”


The new military assistance package will include antimiconic radars and 20 unmanned Ermine Casevac modular vehicles to evacuate the wounded. Earlier, Amsterdam gave Kiev, among others F-16 fighters.

The Netherlands will also allocate an additional EUR 80 million (over PLN 340 million, counting at the current exchange rate) for unmanned aerial vehicles as part of the international “drone coalition” for Ukraine. Earlier, Amsterdam has already announced an investment of EUR 20 million (over PLN 85 million, counting at the current exchange rate) in this project.
The Dutch Ministry of Defense pointed out that the support package supplemented the recently announced military assistance for Ukraine in the amount of EUR 400 million (over 1 billion 703 million PLN, counting at the current exchange rate). It covers over 100 units – patrol boats, transport boats, intercepting, special purpose ships, as well as sea drones.
Defense Minister Brerelman also announced that the Netherlands signed contracts for the production of over half a million drones with Ukraine.

I also announce a new support package worth 175 million euros: with radar systems, unmanned aerial vehicles and drones” – he wrote in the post on Platform X.
