The May 1 mini-holiday ends with a test of patience for drivers. A car accident with seven cars on the A3 Highway completely blocked traffic on the direction to the Capital, forcing the police to divert traffic onto an already extremely congested DN1. On Valea Prahova, the lines of cars stretch for dozens of kilometers, from the border with Brașov county to the entrance to Ploiești.

The collision took place at kilometer 48 of the A3 highway, near the town of Râfov (Prahova county), according to the INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police. As a result of the chain impact, one person was injured and required medical attention at the scene.

Traffic on the A3 was stopped, being diverted to the DN1.

Lines of cars stretch for several kilometers on Valea Prahova

Traffic police officers from IPJ Prahova report extreme congestion at several points on DN1. Between Azuga and Bușteni there is traffic in a column in the direction of Bucharest, the heavy traffic starting from the border with Brașov county.

Also, in the town of Comarnic, road traffic is carried out with increased intensity in the same direction, and on the Western Ring Road of Ploiești, traffic is driven at reduced speed in the area of ​​the intersection with DJ 129G (Strejnicu).
