June 23, 1941
On this day, at 7 a.m., a rally (6+) was held at the Birobidzhan Repair Mechanical Plant.
“Our wives and children will replace us if it takes it to protect our homeland,” the workers spoke on it said. At the rally, it was unanimously decided that, starting on June 23, the plant installed round -the -clock duty of workers and employees.
Children who were not even 16 years old and pensioners over 60 years old came to work at the plant, Margulis director did not refuse to work. Young people and veterans replaced the former workers of the plant who went to the front.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR, the settlement at Mikoyan mine was allocated from the Obluchensky City Council and is classified as workers' villages in connection with the construction of the Khnganolovo plant and the growth of the population. The village was given the name of the working village of Mikoyanovsk.
In 1957, the village was renamed Khingansk. The name is given along the Hingan River, translated from the language of local peoples means “steep ridges of mountains with inaccurate snow in the hollows.”

The Bureau of the Obluchensky District Committee of the CPSU, the Executive Committee of the District Council of People's Deputies approved the initiative of the collectives of the Teploozersky Cement Plant, the Khinganolovo plant, supporting the initiative of the workers of the Rostov Region “Work without laggingmen”, recommended primary party organizations, local councils of people's deputies, trade union and Komsomol organizations to expand the broad Organizational work in labor groups to disseminate the valuable undertaking of Rostovites.

In the newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” (12+) on June 24, 1984, the article “In a Unified Brotherly Family of Peoples” wrote that a solemn meeting of the regional committee of the CPSU, the regional council of people's deputies, dedicated to the half -century Jewish autonomous region, took place.

In the report of the first secretary of the regional committee of the CPSU L. B. Shapiro, the historical path of the region was reflected, huge changes in the economy, culture, achieved by working areas under the leadership of the regional party organization over 50 years.
A member of the Central Committee of the CPSU, the first secretary of the Khabarovsk regional committee of the CPSU A.K. Black, made a speech. He announced the greeting of the Central Committee of the CPSU, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
“In the warm, cordial words of greetings, a highly assessed the historical achievements of the working people, who, under the leadership of the regional party organization,, with the active assistance of the entire Soviet people, turned this once poorly mastered territory of the Far East into a multi -industrial industry area and highly developed agriculture, achieved noticeable successes in cultural construction.”
Participants in the solemn meeting sent a welcome letter to the Central Committee of the CPSU, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
At the end of the solemn meeting, the play “Golden Wedding” (12+) of the Chamber of Jewish Musical Theater was shown.
