Kopic's message to departing in Poland
“We have three weeks of preparation until the first official match, with the players we have at this time. The situation is clear: I am waiting for transfers. It is very important to bring new players to start the season well.
I understand that patience is needed and that we have to wait for quality players, I hope to come to Poland, but I want them to come as soon as possible. With some we are close to completing the agreements, with others we are still in discussions.
I hope we will have surprises soon. So far, the situation is not exactly good. Of the important transfers, I made them on Musi and Kyriakou. Mihai was before the end of the season.
Musi said the workouts are heavy – it's normal, we are in the preseazon, and each coach has his work style. I don't want to make comparisons. Many players have developed, their odds have grown, some have reached national teams, but everything is history.
The new season knocks on the door and that matters. Everyone's expectations must be higher. It's important. But we must be with our feet on the ground, see how we will build the team and set the goals.
Kyriakou Charalampos is exactly the type of player I like. He has over 300 matches at Apollon, he was a captain, a real personality leader. Play well under pressure, brings stability and handles more positions – it is a big plus for us.
About Homawoo, I heard that he would be in discussions with a team from Belgium, but I was also contacted by an Egyptian journalist who told me that Al Ahly was interested. Dinamo restored to the “football map” after a difficult time and wish him the best.
Edi (no Iordănescu) has reached Legia, a big club. I am glad that more and more Romanian players reach important teams – they are great opportunities for them.
As for Olsen, he will go to Denmark. He came to Dinamo in September, as a free player, and now the club will get a transfer amount.
At 31, it is an important step for both him and the club. I really liked how it contributed to the team and it is worth all the appreciation. As for Abdallah, he is still with us. We analyze all the club's options and hope to choose the best solution, ”said Zeljko Kopic Sunday morning, on Baneasa Airport, before leaving for the Poland canton.
