Disclosures about the killing of 10 top Iranian scholars in Narnia operation. Israel would have used a special weapon

While Israeli aircraft attacked military targets, high -ranking officers and Iran nuclear installations during the Lion Rising operation, in parallel another clandestine mission took place, writes The War Zone. With the code name the Narnia operation, Israeli agents would have used a “secret weapon” to kill nine of the most important scientists in the nuclear field in Iran, while they slept in their beds, according to the Israeli News Agency N12.

The officials refused to specify what this special weapon would be, “which remains under censorship and was not publicly disclosed,” according to Times of Israel.
The War Zone publication has previously reported that Israel has attacked the residences of valuable targets with small ammunition. It is known that the mossad used drones and guided anti-tank rockets on the territory of Iran the night when he launched the surprise attack. These targeted assassins have continued since then, although not at the same level. But some of these weapons may have been used to assassinate scientists.
According to the N12 report, Israeli intelligence services have deliberately orchestrate simultaneous blows in the first phase of the war to allow no possibility of warning or escape. In previous incidents, Iranian nuclear scientists were often targets of car-carp and shootings in cars while traveling to work. Thus, these publicized attacks have triggered alarm signals and stimulated increased protection for other potential targets of great importance.
For a still unclear reason, nine scientists were killed, but a tenth escaped the initial attack, being killed later.
“These scientists believed that their homes are safe areas,” said a high -ranking Israeli official for N12. “They never imagined that they would be hit in their bedrooms.”
Officials from Israeli secret services told N12 that killing scientists was the most important component of the first phase of the operation Leon Rising. Aerial defense, ballistic missile systems and control and control nodes have great significance and can prove difficult to replace. On the other hand, the officials emphasized, “the knowledge of these people are irreplaceable. It takes many years to regroup these minds that have worked for 20-40 years in the nuclear and weapons program.”
“There is a long -term effect, for much longer, not just a few years,” the officials added.
Nuclear scientists who have been eliminated “have been involved for decades in promoting nuclear weapons – an essential component of the Iranian regime plan to destroy the state of Israel,” according to the publication.
Given the nature of their activity, Israel monitored for years, using for this purpose “dozens of researchers in the Research Division of the Information Division of IDF”, N12 reported. “This was a mixed team of researchers in technology and experts in Iranian arena.”
The operation has intensified in the last 12 months, and scientists have become “targets” in November last year, when the decision was made to give the opening of this war. The actual Narnia operation was liquidated on those top Iranian scientists who had all the knowledge about the nuclear and enrichment programs “of the uranium, the quoted source said.
According to the Times of Israel, the killed scientists were identified as: “FatherDoon Abbasi, nuclear engineering expert; Mohammad Mehdi Tehrangei, Physics Expert; Akbar Motalebi Zadeh, chemical engineering expert; Saeed Barji, Expert in material engineering; Amir Hassan Fakhahi; Al-Hamid Minoushehr, expert in reactors;
Israel has already used unconventional means to kill Iranian nuclear scientists. In November 2020, Iranian officials stated that Israel killed Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, an important nuclear scientist, using a machine gun either on a remote control or fully automated, on a truck, without the presence of assassins.
In recent assassinations, it is not clear whether scientists were killed by a weapon launched from the air or from the ground, possibly in the immediate vicinity of the target. For example, Mossad agents used Rafael Spike guided rocket systems, remotely operated in the initial phase of the Rising Lion mission, to destroy the air defense around Tehran. These rockets are guided and allow operators to pilot the rocket to a specific point before detonation. They can even stumble for short periods of time. A video recording of this operation was published on social networks.
In addition to the use of Spike systems from a distance, the Mossad also set up drone production centers in buildings in Isfahan, about 320 km south of Tehran. In a certain location, the investigators discovered a “three-storey building used by Israeli agents to assemble and store drones for terrorist operations”, the Tasnim Semi-Offlaim Agency said. “Officials also found handmade bombs and over 200 kg of explosives”.
Israel was also a pioneer in the use of extremely maneuverable suicide drones, optimized for missions in dense urban areas, including inside buildings.
Unidirectional attack drones with a long range of Israel, another class of innovative weapons, could also be used for this type of extremely precise attacks.
Israel has a history of using some remarkable secret methods for killing enemies in the initial phases of an operation. A few days before launching attacks on the militants Hezbollah in Lebanon, supported by Iran, in September 2024, Israel performed a bold operation using thousands of explosive pages and radios. The explosions killed about 30 people and hurt over 3,000.
The leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, was killed in Tehran by a bomb introduced in the guest house where he was, according to The New York Times.
