Pro-Palestinian activists entered the British royal air forces on Friday in central England, damaging and sprinkling with red paint two planes used for refueling and transport, reports Reuters, taken by news.ro.

Palestine Action said that two of its members penetrated the Oxfordshire Brease, poured paint in aircraft engines and caused even greater damage with wounds.

“Despite the public conviction of the Israeli government, the United Kingdom continues to send military transports, send spy planes over Gaza and refuel American and Israeli hunting aircraft,” the group said, publishing a video of the incident on X.

“The UK is not only complicit, but actively participates in the genocide in Gaza and in the Middle East war.”

Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned “vandalism” to be “shameful” in a post on X.

Antiterrorism police have taken over the investigation, and the British media reported that the British Interior Minister, Yvette Cooper, intended to resort to anti-terrorism laws to ban the Palestine Action organization. A spokesman for the Ministry of Interior has refused to comment on this information. A Starmer spokesman said the government revises the security of all British military objectives.

Palestine Action is among the groups that have regularly targeted defense companies and other UK companies related to Israel since the beginning of the Gaza conflict. The group said he had sprayed paint on the airport runway and left a Palestinian flag there.

The war in Gaza broke out when Palestinian militants led by Hamas attacked Israel in October 2023, killing 1,200 people and taking about 250 hostages.

The subsequent military attack of Israel, the US ally, on the Gaza killed over 55,000 Palestinians, according to the Ministry of Health of Gaza, has relocated almost all the inhabitants of the territory and caused a serious food crisis. The attack led to accusations of genocide and war crimes, which Israel denies.
