Unilateral interpretation and politicization in Poland historical discourse with Ukraine negatively affect the partnership between two countries and serve the interests of Russia – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced on Friday.


This statement was made after the round table, which the head of Ukrainian diplomacy Andriy Sybiha conducted with historians and experts for Ukrainian-Polish relations-explained in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kiev.
It emphasized that Sibiha in his speech emphasized Poland's comprehensive support for Ukraine since the beginning of the war on a full -scale war against Russia's aggression. He also assessed that this help is a testimony to real solidarity and strategic partnership between states.
“Our relations with neighboring Poland are extremely important from the point of view of common interests, as well as in the context of current challenges and threats in the face of the ongoing Russian armed aggression,” said the minister.

During the meeting, the positive dynamics of the Ukrainian-Polish working group for historicals, which operates under the auspices of ministries of culture, and the continuation of search and exhumation works on the territory of two countries.
