Before interrupted the internet in Iran, the inhabitants transmitted the terrible sensation of the war. Tehran is “empty like a desert”

A city with 14 million inhabitants is shockingly deserted, they started to transmit the Iranians before the authorities stop the internet.

Beyond the armed confrontation-the conflict between Israel and Iran also has a pronounced component of human suffering. A lively and crowded urban legend, with chaotic traffic, a house for 10 million inhabitants in the city and 16 million in the metropolitan area, Tehran now looks “as a desert desert,” says its citizens, according to New York Times.

One of the Iranians left in the city despite the Israeli attacks that began six days ago, Asad, said he was shocked by the way Tehran came to look “abandoned”. Most shops are closed or open only during the day.

“It still looks like a nightmare that we didn't wake up from,” Asad said. “Even if we get used to it, it doesn't seem real.” Much of the people left the fear of conflict, only law enforcement are seen on the streets, and those who could not or did not want to leave, are locked in houses, broken by the world.

Internet, restricted in Iran

And the financial safety of the people is endangered. Iran temporarily restricted access to the Internet, cryptocurrencies and banking services. In a statement broadcast by Iranian media, the ministry accused Israel of “abusive use of the national communications network for military purposes.”

Also on Wednesday, the Iranian platform of Digital Nobitex foreign exchange, which trades cryptocurrencies, has ceased its activity after facing “a threat to the Security”, Iranian media reported.

Cryptocurrencies are increasingly considered in Iran as a way to keep value and maintain transactions in the context of financial instability in the country.

The incident follows a cyber attack on the sepah bank, related to the armed forces, from the Group of Hacktivists Prededory Sparrow, which also claimed the attack on Nobitex. The group stated that the platform was involved in avoiding sanctions and financing terrorism. Iran believes that Predatory Sparrow has connections with Israel.

Another Iranian bank, Pasargad, was also the target of an attack.

The government spokesman Fatemeh Mohajerani said, however, that public funds are safe. But major tails appeared in gasoline.

Sixty dead in a single day in silence reduced wars in Ukraine and Gaza

What is happening in Tehran is only the third regional front, but with global effects on people's lives. Humanity currently has three armed conflicts opened in recent years, and at least one nuclear power is involved in each of them.

The most recent of the wars brought out the light of the reflectors on the first two: Russia-Ukraine and the conflict in Gaza.

“The wars reduced to silence are the ones that suddenly, on the sixth day from the fight Israel-Iran, disappeared from the first pages of the newspapers and from the first pages of the information sites. And yet, in Ukraine and in the Gaza strip, people continue to die as many as before, in the car, The publication Avvenire, quoted by the Radio Rador Romania Agency.

“Sanitary sources in Gaza counted at least 59 dead yesterday, on Tuesday, June 17, after Israeli tanks opened fire – say witnesses – on a crowd trying to confirm food aid with trucks. It would be one of the bloodiest episodes, among the countless episodes that took place in twenty months.

It seems that there are 221 new injured in the gas of which at least 20 are in very serious condition, say medical sources. They were transported to the hospital in private cars and carts drawn by bicycles or donkeys.

On the night of June 17, another massacre took place in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported the killing of at least 22 civilians trapped under the ruins of a house in Solomyansky district. Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski denounced “one of Russia's most serious attacks” in over three years of war, since the Russian invasion of February 24, 2022. During yesterday's raid, over 440 drones and 32 missiles were launched.
