Airbus presents plans. This is what production is supposed to look like
The company confirmed that it aims to achieve a production rate of 13 A220 family aircraft per month in 2028. In the case of the A320 family, Pratt&Whitney's failure to meet its engine supply obligations has a negative impact on the production ramp-up schedule.
The company currently expects to achieve a rate of 70-75 A320 aircraft per month by the end of 2027, and then stabilize at the level of 75 units. The target remains a pace of five aircraft per month for the A330 program in 2029 and 12 for the A350 in 2028.
The Airbus Board of Directors will propose in April a dividend payment for 2025 in the amount of EUR 3.20 (approx. PLN 13.50) per share. The outlook for 2026 assumes the delivery of approximately 870 commercial aircraft and adjusted EBIT of approximately EUR 7.5 billion (approx. PLN 31.6 billion).
In 2025, Airbus won the tender for the delivery of 40 A220 family aircraft to LOT Polish Airlines with an option for another 44 machines. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 9 billion (PLN 38 billion), and deliveries are scheduled to start in 2027. These will be the first Airbus aircraft in the Polish carrier's fleet.
