BAC 2025 results. Top five counties with the highest promotion rate. The Middle Map to Baccalaureate 2025 in each county

The results at Baccalaureate 2025 were published on Friday by the Ministry of Education on the Baccalaureat.edu.ro website and Hotnews. The promotion rate at BAC 2025 – before appeals – is 74.3%, lower than last year, 76.4%, but is the second highest promotion rate in the last 15 years. The students from Cluj managed the best performance this year, with a promotion rate in the county of 89.4%. At the opposite pole is Ilfov County, with the slightest promotability, of 61.5%.

The cumulative rate of promotion (all promotions) at BAC 2025 before appeals is 74.3%, decreasing from 76.4% – in the first session of last year. Thus, they promoted, in total, 77,805 candidates (73,859 candidates from the current promotion, respectively 3,946 from previous promotions) of the number of 104,675 candidates, according to the data announced by the Ministry of Education.

For the current promotion, the success rate is 79.9% (81.5%: June – July 2024), while for the promotions of the past years, the percentage is at 32.1% (31.9%: June – July 2024).

Thus, this year, at Bac 2025, the second highest promotion rate (before appeals) in the last 15 years was registered.

The best results at BAC 2025 were registered in Cluj (89.4%), Bacău (86.4%), Galați (86.2%), Braila (86.2%) and Brașov (85.3%).

In the top of the counties with the best results follow Iași (85.1%), Bihor (82.5%, Satu Mare (82.1%) and Buzău (81.3%).

At the opposite pole, in Ilfov county, at the cow 2025, the weakest results of this year were recorded, with a promotion rate of 61.5%, followed by Mehedinti, with 65.9%and Gorj, 67.7%.

In Bucharest, the promotion rate at BAC 2025 is 85.1%.
