Over the years of World War II, the regional party organization sent more than half of its composition to the army.

During the war years, about 7 thousand working mass professions were trained at industrial enterprises, transport, including 1256 agricultural machine operators.

Immediately after the outbreak of war, 93 military schools were created, in which five thousand people studied. They comprehended the art of sniper shooting, mastered the skills of bayonet battle, throwing grenades and digging trenches … “.
