The CPK company explained that, as in June 13, 2025, 2025 properties were obtained under the airport program with a total area of ​​1926 hectares. “This means that over 51 percent of land covered by a location decision for the CPK airport and the western part of the railway junction have already been purchased. Until now, 1026 entries have been received, which include about 88 percent of the area covered by the said decision,” the company said.

“The number of applications for the voluntary program is to buy almost 90 percent of the area covered by a location decision for the CPK airport and the western part of the railway junction. The company is finalizing subsequent transactions regarding the areas where the CPK investment program is implemented” – we read in the communiqué.

According to the CPK message, in the case of a railway voluntary program, the company has purchased 47 plots with a total area of ​​33.6 hectares so far. “In total, the owners reported 190 plots out of 201, which were qualified. This means that 95 percent of the selected plots of land, on which the first section of the high speed rail line will be created, were voluntarily reported to PDN” – said CPK.

The information reminded that the purchase under the airport PDN take place in the area covered by the area regulation, while in the case of the railway program they apply only to qualified plots through which future railway lines will run.

The company pointed out that the individual valuation of the property, prepared by an independent property appraiser, taking into account all its detailed parameters, constitutes the basis for determining the conditions for the purchase of real estate by the Company. “As a rule, the company's offer includes 20 percent bonuses to land, 40 percent to the value of buildings and other appointments. The property owner can also take advantage of the offer, taking into account the replacement value without a degree of consumption,” CPK said.

As part of the CPK program, among others, Central airport, located between Warsaw and Łódź, and high speed rail system. The new airport is to be adapted initially to service 34 million passengers per year and designed in such a way that in the long term it can be flexibly expanded, in accordance with the needs and forecasts of market development.

According to the adopted schedule, the construction of the CPK airport in the communes of Baranów, Wiskity and Teresin is to start in 2026. In 2031, the airport is to obtain the necessary certifications, and in 2032, it is to be commissioned with the first episode of KDP in Poland: Warsaw – CPK – Łódź. The estimated investment cost by 2032 is PLN 131.7 billion. (PAP)
