A rocket fell next to her house in Ukraine. He talks about the reaction of people around

Mariia Tsiptsura: Where were you when the bullet hit the building?
Yanina Turkova: In your apartment, in the same yard. It's about 150 m from the building that the rocket hit. After hitting the Shaheds, I decided that the attack was over and I even went to sleep. And then I got up and went to the staircase. And at that moment the rocket arrived.
What did it look like at the time of impact?
At that time, the factory was already burning near us. I live on the ground floor. When I entered the apartment, I heard that there were people in the entrance – my neighbors. It was a young couple with a child, I don't know them well, but I thought I should let them in, because it would be safer. I opened the door and at that moment I heard the flying rocket. They managed to run and close the door. And then there was a blow. This door saved us from shards and injuries. My neighbors later said that if I didn't let them in, they would be cut with glass from broken windows.

What happened later?
We stood in the staircase. The neighbors had a daughter with them at the age of two or three. At some point the power was suffered and a bang occurred. We realized that it was a rocket. When we came to the sore, we tried to leave the apartment, but we couldn't because the entrance door was blocked. Men tried to break them for about half an hour. On the other hand, rescuers tried to open them. So everyone began to go out the window in my apartment. It is quite high, but there was panic that the enemy can shoot a second rocket to the same place as it often happens. Everyone wanted to escape.

Have you left too?
I helped people go down and stayed in the apartment. When they managed to open the front door, I went outside. Almost nothing was visible – everything was covered with dust. Everyone was running around and shouting. And when the dust began to fall, I saw a completely damaged block. There were rescuers who collected rubble. Maybe it was hallucination, but it seemed to me that I could hear people shouting for help. I looked and didn't understand what to do. Then the rescuers began to shout that another enemy attack began and everyone had to run away. And we started running, drones flew around.
The tragic photo circulated the network. “They understood that they would not find a live son”
What's going on now?
Description of the relationship of June 17: I stayed at the site of the tragedy. Two floors have already been demolished, five bodies were found. Sometimes these are fragments of bodies. Because the temperature of the bullet makes the bodies of people melt, I seem unlikely that rescuers will be able to find more survivors. My friends – Kostya and his wife – are here and are waiting for their son who lived in this house. Everyone is shocked, but they understand that they will not find him alive.

I saw this photo. It is so tragic that there is no words.
Yes. Their more than 20-year-old son lived in this block. There are many other people nearby, their friends and relatives. Everyone is shocked – people don't even cry, they just stand and look. I have no idea how to live here, how to leave the apartment every day, see this damaged block with the awareness of how many people died in this tragedy.
How many people are there?
About a hundred people. New ones are still coming. They say that this block will be completely demolished because everything is destroyed. There are services and ambulances on site. Everything around is blocked, no one can get closer. When rescuers take the bodies, they move them sideways, they do not carry them through the crowd. In the morning I saw a lifeguard taken with an ambulance. They say they won't find some people at all. Because it's a rocket …
What is the situation in your apartment?
It seems to me that everything is fine, because the windows go to the other side. Of course, the windows were broken, furniture and doors are damaged, but I am fine compared to others. My neighbor's windows go out into the yard. She went to the shelter, and her mother, who is 100 years old, stayed in the apartment because she can't walk. The window was broken and she was taken to the hospital because she had a cut face.
