In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, salaries of public sector employees will be increased from January 1, 2026. The bill on this was adopted in the first reading at the session of the Legislative Assembly of the region.

The increase will occur due to an increase in the special regional monthly payment, which is a response to the president’s instructions to accelerate the growth of the minimum wage. As Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Finance Vladimir Bakhar explained, from the new year the minimum wage in Russia will be 27,093 rubles. In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the mechanism for increasing wages has been implemented for the third year through an increase in regional payments. In 2026 it will increase by more than 4 thousand rubles.

Thus, taking into account regional coefficients and “northern” bonuses, the increase in wages will range from 7,448 rubles for workers in the central and southern territories to 12,103 rubles in Norilsk and the Taimyr Dolgano-Nenets Okrug.

For employees receiving a salary at the minimum wage level, from January 1, 2026, its amount will range from 43,349 rubles (in the central regions) to 70,442 rubles (in the North).

Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Alexey Dodatko emphasized that this approach allows for fair differentiation of income. The draft budget for 2026 includes more than 25 billion rubles for the implementation of the law.
