The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided to evacuate citizens from the threat area – about 200 people will be transported to Ammanu in Jordan, from where they will return to the country by planes.
Holidays on the Red Sea, despite the fact that they are distant from direct warfare, are also concerned. The tourism industry calls for prudence and reminds of the available insurance options.
“We see fear even about holidays in Egypt. Despite our previous information, many people do not pay attention to the possibilities of additional insurance, in the event of resignation, regardless of what reason, “explains Paweł Radoliński, secretary of the Polish Chamber of Tourism, quoted by RMF FM. We have a lot of queries, both about Israel and IO Egypt, the whole area is in question” – admits Radoliński in an interview with RMF FM. – “We offer clients contact with the tour operator and detailing what to do. It all depends on the conditions, especially the insurance, which was signed and purchased at the beginning of the decision to leave” – he adds.
