The variant of a premiers' rock, on the Ciucă-Ciolacu model, as PSD proposes, should not be taken into account, considers PNL senator Vasile Blaga. He says that President Nicușor Dan has to assume the appointment of a prime minister, in the context in which Wednesday is three weeks since the negotiations for the formation of a PSD-PNL-UR-UDMR government and national minorities have begun.

“Not only does the 45 days expire (n. Red.: The interim government), but only tomorrow is not 20 (n. June 20, when the Council for Economic and Financial Business takes place), and Romania must present a viable plan in Brussels, because otherwise we will have big problems,” explained Vasile Blaga why a new government should be invested.

He told journalists in Parliament on Monday that “Mr. Bolojan presented the situation very well”: “On the other hand, I think all the parties participating in negotiations should be a little more serious.”

“Mr. President, of course, I think he had time and his reign, with all respect, does not escape this burden, he has to nominate a prime minister. We did not put new conditions, you know very well, when we sat down at the table, but you should now, I apologize, and I will use an inappropriate word.

Blaga's statements come in the context in which President Nicușor Dan will meet today, from 2 pm, with Sorin Grideanu, Ilie Bolojan, Dominic Fritz and Kelemen Hunor and Varujan Pambuccian, sources for Hotnews said.

They will have new discussions about the package of fiscal measures and the formation of the future government, after last week's negotiations have arrived in a deadlock.

The meeting takes place after President Nicușor Dan discussed on Monday with the trade unionists about the economic measures that will be taken in the next period.
