Meetings with the team of US President Donald Trump run very well, but it is too early to expect specific results after the damage caused by the administration of Joe Biden – announced on Sunday the Kremlin, quoted by the Reuters agency.

After Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff had a conversation on Friday with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the US president said on Saturday that discussions aimed at ending the war in Ukraine are in order, but the moment when “you have to stop talking, only acting”.
“Everything is going very well,” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Pieskow. He added that, however, you cannot “expect immediate results”.
Asked if Putin's meeting with Trump is getting closer, Pieskov said that both powers “walk very patiently this way together”, but an attempt to restore relations requires serious and tedious work.
Witkoff met Putin on Friday for the third time. After the conversation, the Kremlin issued only a short message: “The head of the Russian state talked to the special envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff (…). The meeting concerned aspects of the regulation (issue) of Ukrainian.” (PAP)
