In New York City, it is estimated that about 50,000 people participated in demonstrations throughout the city.

In Philadelphia, Martin Luther King III, the eldest son of the famous leader of the civil rights movement, said that the march “aims to raise the community”. The protest was peaceful.

In Chicago, a group of thousands of people gathered in Daley Plaza before marching near Trump Tower, where demonstrators were heard and chanting “Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Donald Trump must leave.”

In Georgia, the police used tear gas and arrested at least eight people at a rally against ICE deportations.
