The 22-year-old tennis player qualified for the first time in the semi-finals at the Australian Open, after two years in which he stopped in the “quarters”. In 2024, Alcaraz lost to Alexander Zverev, 6-1, 6-3, 6-7 (2), 6-4, and in 2025, he was defeated by Novak Djokovic, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4.
