“The modern war does not start with tanks at the border, but with soldiers in jeans and propaganda on the Internet,” warned the Secretary of the Supreme Security Council of the Republic of Moldova.
Stanislav SECRIERU, who is also the presidential adviser for security and defense, argues that the Moldovan authorities must analyze how the Kremlin intervened in other states and take this information into account.
“It is an important lesson for all those who underestimate the danger. The modern war no longer starts with tanks at the border, but with soldiers in jeans and propaganda on the Internet. This is why Moldova needs vigilant and well -trained institutions, of solid international partnerships and a clear direction, the European one, which is the only one, the only one, on facebook.
The official made the clarification in the context of the questions about the possible consolidation of the Russian military forces on the left of the Dniester.
He referred to the fact that the Chisinau authorities prevented the rotation of the troops located in Transnistria through the Chisinau International Airport, after 2014. He also pointed to the Soviet military in Cuba, Egypt, Syria, Angola between 1962 and 1989, who did not wear the uniform and moved to these states.
