– What did the World Cup with Cameroon teach you and then you applied to your club, Dinamo?
– It was a good experience, because it is probably the biggest competition in the world. Playing against such teams and opponents is always beneficial. And having a good evolution there is an opportunity to show your level.

– You are close to going to another World Championship…
– Almost? I don't know. But we have two more games in November, in the play-offs. And we'll see after that.

– Are you ready to fight for the “American Dream”?
– Of course. We fight every day in training for this. When we play Cameroon, that is the goal of everyone there. So of course we want to go to America.

– You had an extraordinary match with Brazil, with Cameroon. What was that moment like?
– At that moment, for me, I didn't feel that it was the World Cup or that I was playing against Brazil. We only played one game, but then, for my family, who were in the stands, and for the Cameroonian people, it was something huge to beat Brazil in the World Cup. I realized afterwards what I had achieved, during the match it just seemed like a normal game. But after the match I realized what I had done.

– Looking back, did that match change your career, visibility?
– I don't know, because at that time I already had a contract. So it didn't get me a new contract or anything like that. But visibility, definitely yes. Because when you play in the World Cup, when you play against Brazil and win, and you have such a development, the visibility is of course higher than before.
