The man is also investigated for sexual violence, after making advances to the patient and promised a substantial reduction in treatment in exchange for sexual favors.
The incident took place on September 13, 2024, when the Romanian notified the authorities after receiving poor dental treatments in a Vigevano office. She told the carabinieri that, during the consultations, the man present in the cabinet, who was recommended as a doctor, would have made advances and promised a reduction in the cost of treatment in exchange for sexual favors, according to the reports of the Italian press.
Discoveries of the investigation
Investigations showed that none of the three had a diploma in dentistry. Only one of the sisters had the qualification of dental technician, a job that does not allow him to perform direct interventions in the oral cavity of patients. During the searches at the cabinet, the dental laboratory and the homes of those involved, dental tools and equipment, empty prescriptions, stamps belonging to authentic doctors, but also medical files and fingerprints were confiscated.
Several patients confirmed to the police that they received consultations, treatments and applications of prostheses from the two women, in the absence of a qualified doctor. All services were paid in cash, without receipts, to avoid any financial trace.
A well -organized network
According to the preliminary conclusions, the three were acting coordinated and were well organized, clearly dividing their duties to maintain the illegal functioning of the cabinet.
All three are being freed at the Pavia Prosecutor's Office for the lawless exercise of the medical profession. The man is accused of sexual assault, in relation to the advances made to the patient who alerted the authorities. The investigation continues.
