1 bubble and no more rotten stains: the top rot went off the distance – tomatoes gain weight without surprises

The top rot is a real nightmare of all gardeners: it would seem that tomatoes had just begun to keep up with how dark spots appear on them. Do not rush to spend money on expensive fertilizers! The channel “Garden and Garden” on Dzen.ru (16+) is divided by a secret that saves beds and wallet.

The point as it turned out not in the soil at all, but in how the plant assimilates calcium. Salvation was found where no one was waiting – in a pharmacy! Boric acid for 23 rubles works miracles, stopping rot and returning health to the fruits.

Acid helps tomatoes correctly “deliver” calcium to the fruits. Without boron, calcium simply does not reach the right places, and no top dressing will be saved. In Soviet times, the agronomists knew this secret and generously used boron on collective farms. Today they forgot about him, but in vain! One bag of boric acid (10 g) saves up to 20 bushes per season, and it costs cheaper than a cup of coffee.

Dilute 2 g of boric acid in a liter of warm water (for beginners, start with 1 g so as not to burn the leaves). Spray the bushes in the morning until 8 or evening after 18:00 so that the sun does not leave burns. Treat the leaves, stems and fruits, especially from below – there the plant absorbs better there. Repeat after 3 days. Already on the 2nd day, the new ovaries grow clean, and by the 5th day the spots stop growing.

Avoid three errors: do not break the sick fruits (this is stress for the bush), do not lie the solution “by eye” and do not wait until the rot captures the entire bed. It is better to start prevention: spray 10 days after planting, at the first ovaries and at the beginning of fruiting. This method works not only on tomatoes, but also on pepper, eggplant and even cucumbers.
