Kim Jong-un, angry after a North Korean war ship was dusted during the launch ceremony: “A criminal act caused by absolute negligence”

The launch ceremony of a North Korean war ship has turned into a shame for the Phenian regime and infuriated the North Korean president Kim Jong-un, who qualified the incident as “a criminal act caused by absolute negligence.”

An embarrassing incident marked the launch of a new North Korean war ship, after it partially overturned during the official ceremony. The event, which took place on May 21 in the Chongjin shipyard, resulted in the serious 5,000 tonne -damage, belonging to the Choe Hyun class.
The war ship, whose name was not made public, was badly damaged, remaining inclined on one side, with the destroyed hint. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who was present at the launch, qualified the incident as “a criminal act caused by absolute negligence” and ordered the repair of the ship until the end of June, and three military officials were detained.
Following the accident, the ship was transported for repairs in the Rajin port, located near the North Korea border with Russia.
Satellite images confirmed that the ship was brought into a dry doc, fueling speculation about possible technical help from Moscow. Although the naval site in Rajin does not have major naval construction facilities, its strategic location on the Russian-Chinese border turns it into a key point to strengthen military relations between Phenian and Kremlin.
“It is a unit with modest technical capacities, but with an increasingly important geopolitical role”said Yu Jihoon, an expert of the Korean Institute for defense analysis, notes The Telegraph.
Another humiliation for Kim Jong-un
According to the Center for Strategic and International Studies, after repairs, the destroyer would be moved to another doc, where to be equipped with modern operating systems and systems.
Satellite images have also revealed that North Korea currently does not have heavy machines to manipulate such ships, which means another palm over the cheek of North Korean President Kim Jong-un. Basically, it took dozens of huge balloons, similar to the management, and the physical effort of hundreds of workers to extract the partially submerged ship.
