Online competition participants attacked by fraudsters. The organizer warns

An alarming post was published on the Żubr brand's social media, warning participants of the “Przy Żubr even” competition against responding to messages from people impersonating the organizer. “People taking part in the 'Even at Żubr' competition on the profile of the Żubr brand were attacked by fraudsters impersonating the Żubr brand, whose actions are illegal and aimed at extorting sensitive information from participants, including financial information,” writes Żubr on Facebook. “We warn you: replying to their message is dangerous,” add the authors of the post.

The organizers have suspended the Żubr competition until further notice
The competition, related to the brewery's latest advertising campaign, is aimed at social media users. Participants send the competition answer in the form of a comment under the post about the game.
The competition was supposed to last until May 22, but was suspended on May 16. “The 'Even at Żubr' competition has been suspended for the time being until the matter is clarified. All information on this subject will appear only on the brand's official profile,” inform the organizers, emphasizing that neither the Żubr brand nor any entity commissioned by Kompania Piwowarska has contacted the competition participants so far.

Kompania Piwowarska informs that it has taken actions to counteract fraud. It has taken administrative steps to block sites and fake links. However, he warns that perpetrators of fraud may use different website addresses, so it is worth being careful and monitoring the matter.
