Vadim Raţă is a central midfielder and last played at the University of Cluj. In season 2024-25 he played 22 matches and offered a decisive pass in the university shirt. He signed a valid agreement on two seasons with FC Argeş, informs News.ro.
32 years old (May 5, 1993), Vadim is originally from Chisinau and grew up at the Academy of Sheriff Tiraspol. He won the first career trophies next to the club that formed, conquering the title of champion of Moldova in seasons 2011-12 and 2012-13.
After evolving in the form of a loan to bands such as FC Tiraspol or Zaria Balti, Duck arrived in the 2017-18 season at Milsami Orhei, where he won the Moldavian Cup, the third career trophy. In the winter break of the 2018-19 season, Vadim took the step to Romanian football, being transferred by Chindia Târgovişte. Next to Dâmboviţeni won Liga 2, taking the step on the first stage of Romanian football.
In the summer of 2021, Vadim went to FC Voluntari. With Ilfovenii he played the final of the Romanian Cup, lost with 2-1 in front of Sepsi St. George. There was a short time spent at FCSB, then returned to FC Voluntari. In 2024 he arrived at the University of Cluj. It has over 200 matches in the first division in Romania.
With Vadim Raţă Captain, the Moldovan national was close to qualifying at Euro 2024. Moldova has accumulated 10 points in a group with the Czech Republic, Albania, Poland and the Faroe Islands, losing the qualification in the last game with the Czech Republic. He has collected 56 selections for the national on the other side of the Prut, scoring 3 goals.
The first goal scored for the national team was one that remained in the history of Bessarabian football. Vadim opened the scoring in min. 9, on Stade de France, in a match with France, from the preliminaries for Euro 2020.
