Lack of US and Iran agreement. Russia wants to make a key movement

In 2015, when the original nuclear agreement (JPCOA) between Iran and global powers was concluded, including the USA, Russia took over the enriched by Tehran Uran (according to the media it was about 11,000 kg). The then US Secretary of State John Kerry described this as “one of the most important steps he took to fulfill the obligations” arising from the contract.
As part of JPCOA, the authorities in Tehran committed, among others to reduce uranium enrichment to 3.67 percent. In exchange for the abolition of some sanctions. In 2018, during the first term of President Donald Trump, the US withdrew from agreement.
Negotiations on the new US and Iran agreement
Currently, the USA and Iran are negotiated on the conclusion of a new contract to limit the Iranian nuclear program, but after the five rounds of talks, no agreement has still been developed. Iran refuses, among others resignation from the process of enriching uranium, claiming that he has an inalienable right to it. According to the USA, Iran is aimed at creating nuclear weapons.
Iran claims that his nuclear program has only a peaceful character, but at the same time enriches uranium to 60 percent, i.e. much above the level required for civil applications and – as follows from recent reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency – he accelerated this process in the last quarter. According to Maea, about 42 kg of uranium enriched to 60 percent. It is enough to produce one atomic bomb, and by mid -May Iran obtained a total of over 408 kg of enriched uranium.
