At the dinner organized with one of her personal sponsors, BRD, the legend of the Romanian sport had with the handball players invited to the “Neagu Gala”. Eliza Buceschi, Crina Pintea, Elizabeth Omoregie were among the present stars.
“Gala Neagu” took place on June 8 at the Multipurpose Hall. The date was chosen specifically and symbolizes the number carried by the largest Romanian handball player during the career.
At the event dedicated to withdrawal, Cristina Neagu played alongside former colleagues and stars of Romanian and international handball. One of the surprises from the “Neagu Gala” was the presence on the prosecutor's office of the new president of Romania, Nicușor Dan, who entered the game of handball players.
Cristina Neagu is the best scorer in the history of the European Championship. The Romanian has 303 goals in the most important European international competition. The left Inter that finished his career at CSM Bucharest scored 1232 goals throughout his career.
