Ciprian Marica, minority shareholder at Farul Constanța, reacted after the decision by which Gheorghe Popescu, majority shareholder, appointed Flavius Stoican as head coach, after the departure of Ianis Zicu, without consulting him.
The decision has created discontent among the former striker, who has spoken openly about the relationship within the club and how decisions are made.
Marica, disturbed by the way the decision was made at the Lighthouse: “A partnership must be based on trust”
The former striker spoke about how the decision was made to appoint the new coach at the club and about the relationship within the shareholding, expressing his dissatisfaction with the lack of consultation.
“Yes, I admit that it did not suit me! And that I felt excluded, stupid, but I will have a discussion with Gică Popescu, probably in the next few days, let's see what can be done.
We had some meetings of the shareholders, the things and decisions of the club were discussed. I believe that a partnership must be based on trust first and foremost and not on unfounded insinuations or jabs. I think things should be based on trust and fairness.
As they were up to a certain point”, said Marica, according to digisport.ro.
In general, the salary is confidential, but I tell you that it is not that high (not about the fact that the salary would be 8,000 euros). With bonuses and everything, they get there, but only if we manage to qualify for the Conference League.
