Another new transformer was brought to the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station

The Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station EN+ received the seventh updated transformer. It will increase the reliability of the station and the quality of energy supply to consumers.

The transformer is made according to the special order of the company EN+ as part of the implementation of the integrated program for modernizing the Siberian hydroelectric power plants “New Energy”. Its weight is 300 tons, and the height is 4 meters. Power – 630 MVA. It allows you to increase the voltage to reduce losses when transmitting electricity over long distances.

“At the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station, the implementation of the New Energy program continues. Timely replacement and modernization of equipment is important for any enterprise, and even more so for the enterprise of the energy industry. After all, this is primarily ensuring the reliability and security of the energy system of the entire state. Today, with the supply of the seventh 220 kV transformer, we are completing a large modernization unit, and we plan to fully re -equip the station by 2031, ”said the director of the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station Stanislav Legeneza.

The transformer was brought from Yekaterinburg to Divnogorsk by rail. To do this, a special train of Russian Railways was involved, consisting of a locomotive and a special platform – a well conveyor 40 meters long. For him, an individual schedule and a route were developed, excluding sections with a limitation on dimensions.

“We try to answer all requests for transportation as much as possible and always join in such large -scale state projects. Such a complex cargo over significant distances can be transported only by rail, ”said Ruslan Yudin, head of the Krasnoyarsk Territorial Center for Brand Transport Service of Russian Railways.

Unloading the unique cargo at the final point of the route, at the Divnogorsk station, was carried out to a specially built site. To ensure the integrity and safety of the transformer, the Krasnoyarsk railway workers refused to use the tap. The oversized cargo was slowly moved from the platform to the vehicle using jacks. Then it was delivered along the motorway to the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station – it is located 7 km from the Divnogorsk station. The assembly will take about 3 months.

“The transformer is equipped with a modern system of monitoring and diagnostics of equipment. Thanks to this, experts can observe the work of the transformer, which allows you to timely identify and eliminate defects in the operation of the equipment, ”the representatives of EN+noted.
