The International Atomic Energy Agency (Maea) suspects that North Korea is building a new uranium enrichment center. The head of Maea Rafael Grossi described Pyongyang's actions as regrettable and violating the UN Security Council resolutions.

Speaking on Monday in Vienna at a meeting of the Council of Governors Maea, Grossi pointed out that the agency he managed monitors the construction of a new facility at the Nuclear Research Center in Jongbijon. The new facility resembles an existing uranium enrichment plant in Kangson near Pyongyang.
As the Japanese Kyodo, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reminded in September last year. He visited the nuclear materials base. The North Korean agency KCNA then published photos of numerous centrifuges in a facility with an undefined location.
The spokesman for Japan's Government Yoshimas Hayashi referred to Grossi's words, who stated that the development of the Nuclear Program by Nuclear Korea is “completely unacceptable” because it threatens the peace and safety of Japan and the international community. He announced cooperation with the USA and South Korea in order to completely eliminate the North Korean nuclear and ballistic program.
Pyongyang has so far conducted six nuclear tests. After the first of them, in 2006, the UN Security Council imposed on the North Korea sanctions to deprive her of access to mass destruction weapons and its components, as well as nuclear technology. Over time, the UN RB and other international organizations, including the European Union, have introduced further sanctions to limit Pyongyang's possibilities to develop a nuclear and rocket program. Regardless of these bans, Pyongyang does not stop in efforts to increase his military potential, including nuclear.
