Deputy Director of Minusinsk City Directorate escaped punishment for negligence

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a sentence was sentenced to the deputy director of the “Directorate of the City Economy” Minusinsk. The united press service of the courts said that the court found the official guilty of negligence, but he escaped punishment.

Investigators found that in 2019 the department received more than 3 million rubles in the national project “Safe and high -quality roads“. This money was intended to create a comprehensive scheme for organizing the road of Minusinsk.

The development of materials for the auction was carried out by the head of the production and technical department, which was soon increased in office and became deputy director of the department. Work on the creation of a complex scheme had to be completed by September 30, 2019, but the company who won the auction did not fit on time.

In November, the official, who knew exactly that the obligations under the contract were not fulfilled, signed the acceptance certificate containing knowingly false information. He agreed to reduce the payment of the work performed by 323 thousand rubles, but the documents signed by him allowed the company to receive 1.88 million rubles.

In court, the man did not plead guilty to the excess of official powers (part. 1 tbsp. 286 of the Criminal Code) and insisted that he did not commit any violations when accepting work.

During the court, the charged was softened, replacing the abuse of authority with negligence (from part. 1 tbsp. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. 1 tbsp. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The court appointed 200 hours of compulsory work as a punishment. But the official will not serve his sentence, since the statute of limitations of criminal prosecution has expired. The convict’s lawyer appealed this sentence.
