The second contractor will have to carry out a complex of construction and installation work to freeze the soil during the construction of the escalator tunnel. The tunnel itself, in which the escalator will be located, will have a diameter of 8.5 meters. The problem is that it must pass through an “aquifer complex”, which can lead to subsidence.
Therefore, it was decided to freeze the soil, which will stabilize it, after which the tunnel will be immediately closed with a lining of cast iron tubing. The draft agreement states that during the work there should be 4 refrigeration units on site – three working and one reserve. The duration of the contract is 510 days from the date of connection of the contract. The initial cost of the work is 108.8 million rubles.
