Presidential pension from ZUS. That's how Andrzej Duda will receive after leaving the palace


The provisions regarding the pension for the former president are regulated by the Act of 30 May 1996 on the salary of the former President of the Republic of Poland. It provides that The former president is entitled to 75 percent basic salary of the currently incumbent president.

Pursuant to the Act of 1996, in addition to pension, the former president will also be able to count on a number of privileges such as financial resources for the office, protection rights, a business car with a driver or health care financed from the state budget.

Andrzej Duda's pension – how much will he receive from ZUS as a former president?

In 2025, the monthly salary of the President of the Republic of Poland is PLN 18,255.30 gross. This means that Andrzej Duda after the end of the second term of office as the president will receive PLN 13,691.47 gross, which gives about PLN 11,240 net monthly.
