UTA is interested in lending for the next season the right-handed defender Flavius Iacob, who has evolved in the last season at CFR Cluj, informs sportrad.ro.
From the Aradean team they left at the end of season 2024-2025, most of the side defenders who were in his lot: Diogo Rodrigues, Kouya Mabea, Ravy Tsouka and Cornel Râpă.
To cover these vacancies, UTA wants to bring, among others, the right-handed defender Flavius Iacob. The 24 -year -old player has won the Romanian Cup twice, with Corvin Hunedoara and CFR Cluj.
The last season, Iacob was borrowed by Corvin at CFR Cluj, but at the end of the competition, the team in Cluj did not exercise his right to buy Jacob, so he returned to Corvin, but UTA is interested in bringing him to Arad, also in the form of a loan. The interest of the Aradian team was confirmed by the mayor of Hunedoara, Dan Bobouțanu.
