The interim mayor of the capital, Stelian Bujduveanu, announced that two new unique bands were arranged for public transport and that they have already been used, according to Agerpres.

These are located on Calea Crângaşi (between Gen. Petre Popovăţ and Grant Passage) and Cotroceni road (between Prof. Dr. Gheorghe Marinescu and Splaiul Independence).

“The result is clear: the buses and trolleybuses are gaining time, people get faster where they work. I know how much it matters not to lose good hours in traffic. That's why we prepare other arteries for unique bands: Lascăr Catargiu, Drumul Taberei, King Mihai I and Polonă Street.

Bujduveanu said on Monday that the City Hall has 12 kilometers of a single tape for public transport, but that they will be gradually implemented.

“At the level of the municipality of Bucharest we have over 50 kilometers of unique tape for the common transport, which makes a route on the north-south axis of Bucharest you can win more than 30 minutes if you use the public transport. Our vision is that Bucharest will not be forced to leave the car, but to choose to go to the public, to go more, more than the car, Parking ”, explained Bujduveanu, for Radio Romania Actualitati.
