The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that “Units of the 90th Armored Division of the Central Grouping of Army reached the western border of the Donetsk People's Republic and continue the march towards the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk region”. The Russians announced this groundbreaking information on Saturday.

Aggression is coordinated by General Aleksander Niłow, who heads military activities related to this operation. Russia's troops also conquered the village of Zoria in the Donetsk region – Russian sources say.

Saturday also brought another Russian attack on the city city in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This is the latest episode in a series of Russian attacks on the region that is an important economic point of Ukraine.
