A Russian bombing on a locality in the Dnipropetrovsk region of the center of Ukraine caused the death of at least one man, local authorities, quoted by France Presse, announced on Sunday.

Russia “hit Mejivska, from Synelnykivskyi district, with a guided bomb. A man was killed,” the head of the Dnipropetrovsk, Mykola Loukachouk, wrote on Telegram.

He also mentioned combined attacks on the Nikopol area, located nearby, mentioning “drones, artillery and multiple grade missiles.” Electric lines and four houses in the city were damaged, Loukachouk said.

This information comes after on Friday night, there were large Russian attacks, with ten dead civilians on the Ukrainian territory, given that Moscow promised a “reaction” to the destruction of his part of the air fleet by the Ukrainian forces last Sunday.

The Russian air defense units destroyed nine Ukrainian drones until Moscow, said Moscow, Sergei Sobianin on the morning. The emergency services were sent to the places where the remains of drones fell after the night attack, said Sobianin, without reporting damage.

The Russian Civil Aviation Authority, Rosaviatsia, announced on Telegram that, to ensure air safety, he suspended flights to Moscow and Domodedovo moscow airports.

A Ukrainian drone attack also caused a short -term fire at the Tula region, injuring two people, according to the local governor. Another seven drones were destroyed above the Kaluga region, its governor said. Both Tula and Kaluga are south of the Moscow region.

Russia and Ukraine have intensified their attacks in recent weeks, returning to peace negotiations for the first time since the beginning of the war triggered by Russia in Ukraine in February 2022 (Reuters)
